Storing curtains

Not sure if this is the best forum for this, but hey ho....

I'm moving into a rented property for circa 6 months and need somewhere/something to store my curtains as the rented gaff has them up already. I need my curtains for when the building work is finished in the new house...

Any ideas?

Mine are in a bin bag under the bed...
That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

I've just stored mine in underbed boxes. They do look a bit wrinkled when you rehang them but the creases drop out soon enough.
  • Over coat hangers in the wardrobe? Or folded neatly in an under bed box? Coat hangers would be least creasing, though if they're super long or heavy, you might need 2 hangers per curtain.

Suppose it depends where & what sort of storage you've got in the rented house.

I think that with vacuum bags everything is supposed to come out uncreased which is why they are advertised for out of season clothes etc.

Don't forget to add something like cedar wood or the sachets you can buy at big suoermarkets, or dry cleaners. You don't want to find that the moth have got them.
