With a lenders hat on. Given your income why no savings? Why the need to even have an overdraft? Your profile can be enough to cause a decline if it doesn't fit the lenders target market. You've no right to a mortgage, it's a commercial business decision.

There is savings £10,000 just now and they can see that as i bank with them................... ref the overdraft, please read what I have said
I had an over draft and tbh I forgot about it its been there for years so complacency has let me down!

Shows a complete lack of care. Even more concerning.
  • Anyway, I know now what i have to do ref gambling £20 on a game if that.

Ref the Overdraft £1000.00 , its been cancelled - I honestly forgot about it its been there for a while.

I have got a mortgage advisor but nothing now until Monday 24th Nov 2014.

So does anyone know of a possible lender that wont require Bank statements please? or Do i need to go to a bad credit lender even though credit rating is £999.00 ??

Post Office / Bank of Ireland don't require bank statements at the moment, or at least they didn't for me. If they think you are a marginal case they might ask for them.

Think they will for self employed.
  • Post office asked for bank statements of me and my wife and my friend and we all applied 2 weeks ago.

My friend was applying with his wife, not the same mortgage as me.
  • This is a Nightmare, Didnt realise i'd been so careless with betting and didnt think about how it would affect mortgage. Grrrrrrrrrrr

All I can do is see what the future holds once i speak to Financial Advisor Monday now.

    Will keep you updated.
