I get lots of people emailing my web sites (via the contact form) offering SEO services, Facebook optimising, and so on. Every single one of them seems to be bogus, they're always really effusive about how great my site is (it hasn't been updated in over a year, and looked quite dated in appearance five years go) and they always talk about how they can improve my business (one site is a personal one, the other for a car club, it's clear that neither is a business) and both contact forms clearly state "Do not contact me offering SEO, enlargement facilities or cheap sunglasses" yet they still do.

Sometimes I respond with a less-than-polite version of "How can you possibly impove my search ranks when you clearly can't read?", but only from a sacrificial email address.
