I may wrong but the question is not clear & bit tricky as I re-read the message and question itself as it asking 'how Chromecast connect to TV' and not about how other devices connect with TV so look like HDMI is the answer? I'm not geek in this stuff!

I've got a Chromecast, it connects to your TV via the HDMI & USB ports. It connects to your router via WiFI.2014: £300 2015: £50 2016:£50 :j0
