Will a drop in weekly hours affect pension?

Hello

due to changes in working patterns I am considering dropping 1.5hrs per week so that I don't have to accrue hours owed and work an extra day every 8 weeks or so.

Just makes life a little easier not having to think about it, but I am not sure if it would impact on my final pension other than in a small way?

I am employed by the NHS, have 32 years unbroken service and have always worked full-time.

Many thanks

The only difference it will make is that you will accrue less service. For example if you worked part time for half the week then you would accrue half a year's service instead of one full year.

Your pension is always worked out on the full-time equivalent salary.
