could anyone who knows alot about neobux( waves at snowcauldron) lol
please give me some advice :)

How much does renting referrals cost when you have the ultimate golden package ? i believe its costs alot more than when you just have the gold membership.

currently its 24 dollars to purchase 100 referrals then another 134 dollars to renew them for 240 days. How easy is it to rent the referrals i've never had problems getting them during the time slot i currently use on gold is this similar to renting on ultimate ?

There's a known problem with stats not updating properly on the dashboard. Mine were updated a couple of weeks ago and they are still the same now.

At your present rental cost ($0.24 per referral), you must be sitting between 1001 -> 1250 referrals. As a standard Golden Member, this will increase to a maximum of $0.27 once you reach more than 1750 RRs.

You are then capped at 2000 RRs, and to continue upwards you will need Ultimate Membership. You can then continue renting in the same way until reaching 4000 RRs, with the following differences:

    1) You are able to rent in blocks of 300 referrals at a time, if you so wish.
    2) The waiting period between rentals is reduced from 7 days to 4 days.
    3) There is a feature called 'monthly payment discount', which serves to take $0.03 from the normal renewal cost of each referral. This effectly means that once in excess of 1750 RRs, each referal costs $1.34 to extend for 240 days. This is the cost to me at present, and will always be the cost (unless they change anything!). Extending as an Ultimate Member will never be more expensive than that.

Renting after you reach 4000 RRs means using the Rental Queue. You rent in packs of 150. This is a lot more expensive: $0.60 per referral plus an extra cent for each 100 referrals you have in excess of the 4000 limit. This is capped at $1.20 per referral. Accounts with more than 10,000 RRs will therefore pay $180 per 150 pack.

With my account as an example of the cost:

    I have 6448 RRs, so (6448 - 4000) = 2448 above the limit.
Round down to 2400, so 24 blocks of 100 referrals = 24 cents. This is the extra cost per referral added to the standard $0.60.

    My cost for the next pack is therefore 150 x (0.60 + 0.24) = $126.00

Renting using the queue means waiting 5-7 days for them to arrive. It varies. Once they appear in your account, you then have to sit on your hands for another 4 days before purchasing again. I'm able to buy a pack every 10-11 days, money allowing.

Hope that novella of a post helps a bit!

Tasks with test questions will count toward the accuracy. As older_wiser explained, have a look at the "tick"

Thanks for the detailed response snow much appreciated as always :)

I think i understand so is the below description correct ?

So if i bought the ultimate golden pack and decided to rent a further 100 referrals it would cost me 21 dollars to do that then a further 118 dollars to renew them for 240 days. The price would go up each time to a maximum of 24 dollars to rent and then 134 dollars to renew for 240 days.

This then changes when you reach 4000 referrals when the rental queue kicks in and then its 0.60c per referal along with any added cost for being above the 4000 level. So for 100 it would be
60 dollars to rent + the charge for being over 4000 referrals then another 134 dollars to renew for 240 days.

Is this about right ? I'm trying to get my head around the new renting format for ultimate i haven't bought it yet but will be doing so shortly if my understanding is correct.

    No worries :D

Yeah, it's a lot simpler when you're over 4000 RRs and you can forget about all the tiered complications. Just work out the initial pack price (far simpler in practice than it is to write down), and then it's always $201 to renew for 240 days (150 x 1.34).

If you bought the Ultimate Membership now at your current level, and then rented 100 new referrals:

Your initial rental cost will stay the same: 100 x 0.24 = $24.
The 3 cent discount applies to the renewal price only (sorry, didn't make that very clear).
    Extending for 240 days will therefore be 100*(0.24 - 0.03)*8 - 30% = $118.

As you correctly said. The rest of your figures are perfectly fine.

The only other thing I'll add is that it makes sense to take your account as close as possible to the 4000 RRs limit, and make your final 'standard' rental a biggie. This saves a bit of money, since the queue is so much more expensive (well, the initial 30 day cost).

I hope everything I've said is right. You tend to forget stuff as you bobble along. It gets more straightforward with a maturing account.

Best of luck with the imminent upgrade :)

Edit: Oh, I upgraded on 1248 RRs (very similar to you now), so I obviously thought it a decent time to take the plunge!

There was also a surprise promotion on 20th July last year - it's not beyond the realms of possibility that something similar might just happen (probably in deference to the fact that it's a bit of a discount period wasteland between Neo's b'day celebrations and Halloween!) No guarantees, though...
