Thanks for the reply rachelja - I will pay more attention to my total when I refresh tomorrow.
But if anyone else has any more info that would be great too.

hi all,
Can somebody explain neobux and rented referrals in a bit more detail to me please? I have rented 5 referrals, I have had them for a week and they have all clicked during the week. How can I tell if I have been paid/credited for their clicks?
The way I am reading the table is that they have each clicked, but only a maximum of four clicks a day - is that right?
I think I am looking for a screen like the one in Clixsense where you can drill down through the account summary and see an exact breakdown of your earnings.
If anyone could point me in the right directions it would be much appreciated.
Thanks xx
As a standard member, you will earn 0.5 cent per fixed orange ad your referral clicks on, 0.5 cent per standard exposure green ad, and 1 cent per extended exposure blue ad. You are guaranteed 4 orange ads per day; the other two types pop up now and again, but it's luck of the draw whether you (or your referrals) see them and click.
Each of your referrals should therefore be able to baseline earn you 2 cents per day if they always click their fixed ads. This assumes your referrals are standard members, of course. You could be lucky and bag a golden member as a referral (this membership level guarantees you 9 fixed orange ads per day), though this would be very unlikely. I have 7 such referrals out of 4600! And 5 of them are distinctly lazy.
I forget what the layout and options are stats-wise for standard members. You should have graphs tracking referral activity? Alternatively, click on the banners link on your account page and select 'show site statistics and what I've earned'. Subtract any task (and task bonus) earnings from this, and any coin redemptions. The remaining amount should be purely a figure relating to referral income. I think!NeoBux member since Aug 2013 | 8848 RRs

I have some Neo questions as well, full of questions today
Is it better to collect points or coins? or is one as good as the other.
Also regarding the referrels, you rent them for 1 month, what happens at the end of the month, do they just carrry onto the next month, and money is taken out of your referrel balance, or do they ask first what you want to do? Also does having the auto pay button on mean anyone who clicks everyday is automatically kept beyond the month?
Not sure I explained that very well but I find some parts confusing. I have 15 referrels now, most are clicking everyday, I have one very good one who hasn't missed one day yet.0 -

Fee, am not going to be much help, suppose it depends what your saving for. Points can be saved up for golden membership instead of the $90, or the coins can be converted into cash. The more coins saved the better the deal you get.
When I used to do the referrals side, I would choose which ones to extend and how long for.
That's not very helpful, sorry hopefully someone else will be along later.0 -

Its all helpful when you're just a newbie on Neo like I am VG, thanks0 -
Snowcauldron, so jealous of your gold referrals lol, even if some are lazy!
Regarding renewals, I extend all for 240 days as it's cheapest. If you get a rubbish referral you can recycle them using points or I think they get recycled free if they are new and don't click for 14 days. Not had that happen yet though. Also there is a small fee to let a referral expire. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
i'm still a newbie myself but i've read and learnt over the past few months if someone has already replied sorry for the longish post
you need to extend your referals you rent them initally for 30 days
then you have to renew for 15,30,60,90,150,240 days
or you could just leave auto pay on and if a referal clicks that day the extension period is extended by 1 day. if a referal is under 20 days until they need to be renewed then auto pay won't work. and you have to manually extend them.
hope thats made sense0 -

Points have most value when redeemed for a golden membership. 30,000 of them will give you the equivalent of $90, so we're looking at 0.3 cents per point.
Alternatively, 60,000 coins will enable you to cash out $90 - each coin in this circumstance having a value of 0.15 cents.
Most folks accumulating points will be putting them towards a golden membership. That's their basic raison d'etre. Otherwise, a single recycle will lighten your load by 93 (saving you 7 cents).
AutoPay is one of those things that sounds far more complicated than it actually is. When activated, it will extend the life of a referral by one day when (and only when that referral clicks). If your referral clicks every day, AutoPay will happily extend it into infinity. It will never expire. You have initially rented for 30 days, and the date for required extension will always be 30 days down the line.
If (and, let's face it, when) your referral misses a click-day, however, AutoPay won't charge you that extra day. The deadline for extending your referral will go from 30 days in the future to 29. And so forth. AutoPay is disabled for a referral when its extention date is less than 20 days into the future. This referral will then require you to manually extend it as and when this date approaches (unless you have AutoRenew turned on).
AutoPay is useful for young accounts, since it acts to spread the extension dates somewhat (because not all your referrals will click on the same days).NeoBux member since Aug 2013 | 8848 RRs
