I got the gaming survey task too, nice and easy.
I would love to see any tips on neobux, anything about recycling referrals would be good. I have 543 rented referrals but my click average is only 0.55 on a good day
Just my opinion and i'm sure its stating the obvious but
I think its a good idea to use the software handy manger on a daily basis and to manually recycle unprofitable referals if your an ultimate member they just allow the 7 day auto recycle to happen and manually recycle the odd few. If your golden member its 14 days so its more difficult and you need to use the handy manager software even more so.
I'm still growing my referals so my avg is slightly higher than yours but not by much some days are good in the 0.60's range bad days i can get under 0.50 though sometimes which is my BEP.
A good average i've seen and one i'd try to achieve is 0.70ish i think the best advice given by many on neobux is just to handle each referal indivdually look at past clicks and see if he/she is profitable for you.0 -
Hello, I've registered to Crowdflower through Swagbucks. I have completed 1 job and I have completed 200 tasks (out of 500) from another job, but on my dashboard I'm at 0 jobs, 0 tasks (but the SB's have been credited correctly). Is it normal?0

Silly me! I answer my own question, for future reference:

Yes it is a crime
Also something that puts you off ever doing that task again
But then the purpose of that task was to weedle out the 'dodgy' posts, so that worked of course as I marked it so.

Al1x - turning a profit from referrals as a golden member is not at all easy. The BEP is at its lowest (0.54) when you have 500 referrals. The cost for renewals then increases in steps, and you're now in the 501 - 750 band. I would certainly suggest increasing your numbers to near 750, which will get your BEP down to as low as it will go within that band. You should be able to make some profit at this level, but beyond this it gets harder and harder. You're at the sweet spot for your membership level, more or less. You average does seem a little low, however. As older_wiser suggests, try downloading Neobux Handy Referrals Manager, which gives you a much clearer view of your referral activity. It's impossible to make much in the way of an informed decision using only the data NeoBux supplies you with in-house. Judgements made purely on averages are tempting but not necessarily the best policy. You're simply looking for consistently under-performing referrals, and clicking patterns. It takes a lot of time, a lot of data, and is the subject of much conjecture!
There are some benefits for 2nd year Golden Membership (2nd consecutive year, without any additonal add-on packs) - 6 cents per recycle, and auto replacement after 13 days of inactivity. Worth knowing if you decide to stick with it.
It's more important to control costs rather than searching for enhanced revenue. As in real life. Try to get into a position where you can renew for the full 240 days. Take advantage of the discount periods. Valentine's Day is approaching, and this usually heralds something.
rachelja - certainly give thought to going Golden (I'm assuming you're not already!) Irrespective of referral collecting, if you task significantly on NeoBux, it will pretty much pay for itself due to the attendant 24% bonus.
I'm by no means an expert, but hopefully the above is of some help. There's an excellent (and massive) FAQ on the NeoBux Forum in the General Section, btw, which I'll mention in case it's flown under the radar. Well worth a perusal.NeoBux member since Aug 2013 | 8848 RRs

Has crowdflower gone down for anyone?
ETA: Never mind it's back.0 -
Thanks snowcauldron, for your advice. I am golden, I went golden for the tasking as I seem to do quite well on that front. I need to look into the manager thingy, is that something I'll find on the NeoBux site or is it an independent one. I say, because I've read links and been directed to different posts but anything I've found has been outdated on an old post or I've just been too suspicious to download anything
