Hi
I have a nearly 2 year old who loves cooking!! :THis current favourite is biscuits. Has anyone (I know you lovely OS'ers will!!) got a tried and tested roll and cut recipe THAT DOESN'T HAVE EGG!!
He's got a raw egg allergy and comes out in hives :eek:so if we put egg in he can't then touch the dough... which kind of defeats the object!!

Could you make water biscuits? They're just water and flour. Not very sweet though if that's what you're looking to make (though I suppose you could experiment and use sugar at some point).£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January0

the grandkids have loved making them with me since they were toddlers.
Simple Biscuits (recipe from 1001 cupcakes, cookies and other tempting treats)
175g Plain flour sifted
quarter teaspoon ground nutmeg
115g unsalted butter
50g caster sugar
preheat oven to gas 4 180C/350F.
Sift flour and nutmeg into a large bowl, add the butter and rub into mix. add sugar and knead together to form a stiff dough - it WILL come together with kneading!
Roll dough out to about 5mm thick. use a 7cm cutter to cut out about 25 biscuits. put the biscuits on two large baking sheets.
Bake for about 8 - 10 mins until pale golden. cool on a wire rack.0 -
It's not quite biscuits, but this is a really simple gingerbread recipe with no eggs - I've used it a lot, very yummy

Try Shortbread biscuits. They are yummy, have no eggs, and can be cut into different shapes.
They are my favourites.
