Yesterday's big winner only had a 59p bonus so yet another one who only joined recently. It was the same last time there was a massive jackpot. I know it's random but it just doesn't seem fair!!

Postcodes cover entire areas rather than just one building.
I won the free postcode lottery a couple of months ago, nearly £500!
Many thanks to everyone who posts competitions and works so hard to provide all the answers!

Maybe it's someone who works there or owns the place.

At one point, you could register with any postcode and didn't have to live there. As long as you just had one account and one entry.

As far as I'm concerned it is ok. You don't have to give much info and it's no riskier than any other comp you enter with similar details.

Thank you to everyone who posts on the competitions boards. You all rock!

    it's a swizz

    always northern :D
  • How new is the hotel? Perhaps lots of houses, or a block of flats, were bulldozed to build it!

My postcode only applies to 5 houses (and I live in the middle of a housing estate, not the middle of nowhere) so postcodes don't always apply to large areas. I used to live in a block of flats (about 150 flats) and the postcode only covered that one block (I've checked the postcode for it on the website and no-one has registered for it at all).

They're not asking you for money.
They're not even asking you for a lot of personal information.
So if it is a scam i can't quite see what they're hoping to get.
I just wish they'd get around to pulling my name out of the hat.
