If you go to the message drop down thing on facebook, there is a section called "other" alongside your main mailbox. I had over 100 unread messages in it!

Thank's I did know about the other box, but thought there must be another one somewhere as my other box is lays empty. Strange.

Independence - mine has never had a message in it either!! I check it frequently!
