Mortgage face to face or phone

This is probably going to be a really stupid question (but I'm FTB and don't honestly know the answer) but can the full mortgage interview been done entirely over the phone or will I need to go somewhere to do it face to face?
I work all over the place so it's not easy for me to commit to being in a particular place at a particular time whereas can more easily take a few hours out for a phone call!

Use a phone based mortgage broker and you sort your mortgage from wherever you are and wont need to take hours out.
Two and three hour phone calls are the exclusive domain of direct to lender applications and their regulatory flowchart straightjackets.I am a Mortgage Broker
