11k worth of defaults in last 2 years. I would be amazed if this was offered.

I hope for your sake I am wrong.

  • thats what i thought GMS - i was surprised i passed the soft search - and since our broker has told me categorically that i have passed the "hard credit check" (i have questioned this several times) im hoping there arent just telling me what i want to hear.

clinging onto the fact that they wouldnt charge & set a valuation date if they have seen my credit score.

I don't believe you are GMS.

I cannot see why an applicant with that profile would even be submitted to Halifax.

  • Thanks everyone for advice/information

Just had the brokers on saying Halifax have assesed me & valuation is booked for tomorrow.

All they have asked for is a standard letter from my employer to confirm i worked there still which isnt a problem.

Asked her if anythin else is likely to be asked for & she said no - they just need this standard letter & valuation to be ok so fingers crossed - still not 100% sure - but time will tell
  • just to update you guys - i recieved my mortgage offer this morning from the halifax...made up!!!
