Occupier consent form

Our solicitor didn't charge us for this.
It was just another form that was signed when the draft contracts were signed.0 -
I start doubting whether we have done it correctly but I would imagine the mortgage would not have gone through if this was wrong. And it has been over 2 weeks since we completed.
My husband signed such declaration, countersigned/witness by one of his colleagues (professional but not a solicitor). No other solicitor involved and we did not paid a fee for this form. The solicitors dealing with the mortgage were lender's choice if that makes any difference.0 -
HOWEVER, from what I remember it said solicitor OR a professional so maybe this is different. Sorry if I confused anyone.0

So did it ask for a solicitor signature and the professional just signed it in the solicitor signature box. O ok I see now.
