£8 coupon off an £80 shop

Tesco have obviously noticed I haven't been going there much as they've sent me a couple of these vouchers.

Now we do spend a few £ in Tesco but no where near £80 and certainly wouldn't spend that amount each week for the next 3 weeks.

So any ideas how I can take advantage of the vouchers??

  • Do you mean you get an £8 off voucher when you spend £80 or when you spend £80 per week for 3 weeks?
  • I got some other day. Still making same old mistakes are supermarkets they just dont get it. majority of people I expect just want everyday lower prices with no gimmicks

    The later.

I got 3 vouchers each valid for one week but the weeks are consecutive but I have to spend £80 each time to take advantage of them.

The only way I can think of doing it is combining my mum's shopping with mine but even then I think we'd struggle
  • Its only a good deal if it fits with your normal spending habits or if you need it.

Basically Tescos want you increase your weekly spend to £80 so their end of year figures look better.

I can get 2 weeks worth of shopping for £80 in Aldi. Tesco have lost the plot.
  • I received several £7 for £70 shopping vouchers earlier this year, as my regular weekly shop came nowhere near this, I ignored them. In the last week or so, Tesco seem to have realised their lost cause and have now sent me several £2 off £20 shopping vouchers. One option, if you or anyone you know plan to buy a Hudl 2 tablet for Christmas £129, Tesco voucher value is doubled if redeemed against this purchase. If you have a £8 voucher, that means £16 off the price. If you had £65 worth of vouchers, that would double up to buy the Hudl. Not sure if this offer applies to other Tesco products.
