A group of school friends plan an epic last night before their houses are demolished by a highway construction project and they are forced to move away from each other. What they couldn't quite plan for was an extra-terrestrial encounter, a mysterious government agency hot on their trail and the most incredible journey of their short lives. Echo, the mysterious alien from another planet, desperately needs their help to return home, and the kids attempt to ward off the promoters destroying their neighbourhood ... obviously this has drawn comparisons to both ET and The Goonies.
