Hi there I want to apply for car finance and was wondering if u think I would be approved. With it being a promotional rate, it should say on your credit report that it's £2k on a card, but it will state that it's a promotional rate card so they may view it differently.

Go and apply for it and see if you get it. Worst case scenario you just saved £12k.

Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.

ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.
