Currently contribute 9.5% of salary to a Teacher's Pension and would like to add some extra savings into a SIPP. How do I find out how much I am allowed to add? I gather there are restrictions. Thank you.

You will have to estimate the value of your Teachers Scheme contribution for the year.
I can't provide a link but if you google "RPSM06107030" you will find the page that tells you how to do this.0
