the new thinner PSP is coming in early September. You should see some good deals in the run up to the launch as retailers dump the old model. Decide if you want the new one or not, it will not be discounted for a few months and will be expensive. Much in the same way the DS was discounted when the DS lite came in.
Alternatively, if you know anyone going to the states the $169.99 price over there = £85 nearly £50 cheaper than most UK retailers. No problems with using a US version over here, just change the US power lead to a UK one (a quid in poundstretcher).0
