If they object to guttering on their shed could you fit guttering to your garage to catch the run off from the shed ?

If they object to guttering, tell them you will then have to fit an impermeable membrane to your garage wall, so you will need full access to it, which may necessitate the temporary removal of the shed.

You can require this under the Access to Neighbouring Land Act 1992.

You would, of course, have to pay for this if they called your bluff, or find another way around; like a couple of 12' sheets of steel profile in a suitably hideous colour. :)

    well, it didn't go well.

The lady of the house is quite a, erm, delicate person. It appears that the builders talking outside is stopping her carrying on her healing work.

They're not playing music, not shouting or swearing. Just talking loudly, but (& here is the clincher) NOT about work. They're talking, about things other than work & this is what she is objecting to & what is stopping her doing whatever it is healing requires

    *sigh*

So, looks like we're going to have to go down the more formal route of requesting access to the back of the garage

As said above you will need a cease and desist letter. Do you gave legal insurance via Union ; house insurance etc
Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring
