Evening all,

Does anyone have any experience with Varooma?

I very stupidly got a loan with them last year and have just missed 2 payments. Yesterday they took my car. My arrears are under 500 but they want over a thousand for me to get my car back within 14 days.

I asked if u could pay a smaller amount and then get back into a payment plan but they have refused.

I don't know how to pursue this.

Can anyone advise what the options may be?

For others reading this, avoid these logbook loan companies like the plague. You are still taking out a high-interest loan (around 200% apr) but secured against your car. In comparison Provi/Greenwood/S&U/Morses/Shopacheck seem quite benign!
