is there any competition where the sob stories DON'T come out0
-
That's exactly what I thought, Cancer, war ... wonder how much of it is actually true0
-
Sleepyjones - at the time of you posting this mine was the only comment that could refer to 'war'
I would gift to my nephew, who is in the Royal Marines and returned to base today after spending 3 months in Jordan, pretty sure he will appreciate being able to smell nice for a change
FYI Jordan is not in a war zone, I mentioned nothing of war, he has been away since August and yes really came back yesterday what I did not mention was he was actually due home 17th Dec for the Christmas break, but they have been brought them back early because they are being deployed to a war zone before Christmas. His choice of career so yes I would like to gift it to him.
Don't judge everyone by your same standards - maybe start taking a positive attitude and may see a brighter side to life instead of nitpicking in areas that do not concern you2013 Best Wins

Seriously? WOW, now im going to believe all the stories i see....pfft. Sleepyjones was making an observation which is a VERY logit one too. Perhaps you should learn to reel your neck in sidshane before putting it on the chopping block. If you tell a story, true or not then expect it to be doubted especially comp wise. You talk of positive attitude, when clearly yours isnt.0

Hey sidshane, I returned to the page a couple of times last night after I had initially posted my reply to see if they were announcing any winners / see how many entries there were so rest assured my post wasn't solely about any one particular response. When I made the post above at 10pm, there were hundreds of responses (over 400 I believe). I could go back and check them if you like and tell you exactly how many refer to these kinds of situations (I can see at least 3 that were posted 18 hours ago, which would have been 2 hours before I made the post referring to war).
Without know everyone's personal experiences in life It's impossible for me to guage if people are being truthful or not in response to a competition post such as the post from last night, where there was a lot of Husbands back from Afghanistan, He held my hand during Cancer Treatment etc etc I simply made a statement "Wonder how much of it is actually true", which is perfectly acceptable question in my eyes. I'm sorry you took offence, but I fail to see why It's my fault, or down to my own inadequacies that I question the honesty of people on the internet, especially when they are trying to get some for nothing.
I thank your nephew for his service to this great country and I hope he comes home safe.0
