Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mayflower Southampton!

Hello,

Does anyone know of any special offers on tickets to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the Mayflower theatre in Southampton please?
The tickets are about £35 each which seems a bit expensive, and they don't even offer any sort of student discount!

Hello I was planning to take my 2 children but money has had to go on car repairs. However I was looking on their website and they do have seats available at quite a few shows, so it might be worth turning up and hoping for a good rate on the day (this can happen). We also have couple of birthdays coming up (DS on Sunday) so I have asked for Theatre tokens as pressies and have been promised 65 pounds worth so far, so fingers crossed. If you go please let me know what its like.

I doubt you will get any cheap tickets. If you book online or over the phone they add a 7% booking fee (but at least it goes to the theatre and not an agent!).

Sometimes I get emails about special offers at the Mayflower, but as yet I haven't received anything. But the Mayflower don't often seem to have special offers, but you never know.

I booked my tickets last year, the day they went on sale (sad eh?) Got the middle of the front row of the Dress Circle - pukka

Just looked and it does give concessions for full time students, but not on Fridays or Saturdays. Don't know how much discount though
