Second charge loan
Hi
I'm in the process of completing a second charge loan application. All is agreed just waiting on Santander to give their consent. Does anyone know how long this is likely to take? Do Santander ever refuse consent?
I have no reason to believe this would be an issue; have never missed a payment and LTV included the second charge will be 70%.
Thanks in advance.

It might have been easier if you had asked Santander for the money.0

Thanks for you reply but it doesn't answer my question.0

Yes banks can refuse consent, but they need a good reason. With an ltv of 70% with the second loan you won't have an issue.0
