Yesterday morning, after a long dry spell in winning anything, I received a phone call informing me I had won a 2 night hotel stay. Lovely, I thought, I must thank Lakshmi. :T
Shortly afterwards I found a letter on my doorstep with a Bauer Media postmark. Ooh, I thought, and quickly opened it. I spotted the Take a Break letterhead and began to get excited. "Congratulations!", I read, "You have won..." OMG, I've won! I've won! "...£10.00".
Oh well, better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, I suppose.
Let's hope it's true what they say about things coming in threes.
