9 yr to debt free?? - what do u do with surplus

Hi
Just about to start my DMP with Payplan, been told i'll be debt free in 9 yrs all permitting which is ok I suppose.
I've just been starting a casual second job, what do you guys do with the money? Save it then pay it off when have a bit more? Or do you save for rainy day??

    If it is not guaranteed work, then I would keep it for a rainy day fund.

    A rainy day fund seems the best option for you as you never know when money gets tight and you might need something.

    Just remember to stash the cash in a account that isnt connected to any of your debts at all.

    Would agree with the rainy day fund. If you don't need it you can always save up for a Full and final eventually for one of your debts.

    Thanks, working tonight as pyhsic line ops, had HSBC come through, I said i'm sorry i'm waiting for important call on this line - as logged in,so he asked to speak to my partner, I repeated myself to which he told me wouldn't take long, told him to put it in writing!
