I normally have more than one running on the same magazine I normally put it in my OH name and sometimes use a different bank account or just ask for the issue a few months onSexkitten
Good things come to those who wait......... but the best will be taken by those who got there first

Janet Rose - If you have an online bank account, then its very easy to cancel DDs That is what I do. When I get my last 3 for £1 mag, I go online and cancel the DD straightaway. Its all a matter of being organised and remembering when to do it (it can get confusing when I've got more than one subscription on the go at one time). Hope this makes sense.Me transmitte sursum, caledoni0

I don't wait for the last magazine. As I get several magazines this way I would forget which was the last! As soon as the direct debit has been taken off I cancel the subcription. I still get the three magazines.0 -

Do you also still get the free gifts (if any on offer) when you cancel DD as soon as they have taken the 1st payment?
This is my first go at these mag offers and I think I may have ballsed the whole thing up !!! I took out a sub for me then 1 for the M-in-L and 1 for my sister. I got my box of goodies at the end of January (about 3 weeks after taking out sub) and the mag at the beginning of Feb. I took out the 2 gift subs at the end of January, they have taken the payments for all 3 of us (which I then cancelled) and I have had no gifts or mags as yet for sis & M-in-L (I checked with both of them)
I was told on my confirmation e-mails that the gift subs would start with the April issue (out March) but when I checked my details with Zest online, they have terminated all the subs and all due only 1 more mag each (May issue - out April) AND NO GOODIES HAVE ARRIVED. I'm hoping some wise MSE may have an answer to my prob please? Has anyone else had this happen to them??? Am I just jumping the gun??? Do you write to the magazine company to cancel your subscription or is it enough to just cancel your direct debit?
ThanksUse words that are soft and sweet in case you have to eat them.0 -

I have never had any problems when I have just cancelled the direct debit with the bank. They will automatically inform the magazine company.
If you are at all worried about it, you could write to the magazine company as well. It won't do any harm and could put your mind at rest.0 -

I haven't had any problems with this before. If you haven't received anything, it may be worth phoning the magazine company up and asking where the free gifts are. You have paid for the subscriptions so it doesn't matter that you have already cancelled.
If I were you, I would just give them a ring.0 -
