Magazine offers - 3 for £1, free gifts etc II

I subscribed to Zest and Cosmo last year, received the mags & gifts, paid the first subscriptions and cancelled my direct debits, all done about October time.
I have just been checking my online bank account and notice a direct debit for National Magazine for £5 last paid 30/12/04. Checked my statements, nothing debited then thank goodness, but the direct debit has been set up again by National Magazine on my account as I have not subscribed to any other mags since October.
So please check your direct debits!

Dunno if it has been suggested before, but why doesn't someone do a "tart alert" for magazine subscriptions so you rememer to cancel your direct debit.I am using the current tart alert system for credit cards but using it for my magazine subscriptions instead to remind me.

I wish there were individual posts for this type of stuff, reading thru the list is exhausting
maybe a sub-board with individual posts would be nice, ah well just a suggestion!, probably been thought of before.

You only need to read through the last few pages of this thread really. Most of the offers last for a month at most. Some are even shorter.
