Thanks for all the magazine subs everyone! :-X
Just phoned for the Body Shop set.Told the woman on the phone I was having trouble ordering over the net and she said that the phone and net are different, so you can probably only order over the phone on this one.
Very pleased with my subs ;D.Elemis stuff, cookery book & apron(needed one anyway), Original Source set and Body Shop gift (including 12 mags that I sometimes buy anyway) for just over £20!bargain!0 -
Hi,
If you ordered the zest sub in August and have just taken out a new one ... what did you do with the orginal zest promo then ... did you cancel it? and just re-subscribe? or do you now have 2 subs?
As I'm in the same situation!
Cheers, Sarah
You can always cancel the original subscription and then take out a new one as a 'gift' for somebody at your addressif you're worried that they might turn down another subscription.
There isn't anything in the terms and conditions to say that this offer is limited to first time subscriptions, however. :-/0 -

Hi Sarah
I use interent banking so just cancelled the DD after I had received 2nd issue. Didn't write to Zest or bank. Got my 3rd issue of Zest and then nothing since. 3rd issue was Nov.
But............ to be on the safe side I did put the latest Zest subscription in my husbands name (not telling him that though ;D) just in case they didn't accept me. ;D ;D
Saying that, from reading this thread it would seem others often do repeated short subscriptions - someone had done it 25 times - so don't think you will have a problem.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained ;D ;D ;D
Hope this helps

Word of Warning - make sure that you cancel your subscriptions with the magazine company as well as cancelling your direct debit.
I had a couple of trial subscriptions through National Magazines, cancelled the direct debits and took out a new trial for a different magazine (but part of the National Magazines umbrella). I got charged for the renewals of the first two through the DD I had set up for the third trial and to add insult to injury one of the renewals was for ZEST who despite three e-mails telling me it was dispatched never sent me the Original Source free gift!!!!!! I shall be more careful in future..............
For those people worried about this happening, you can check the status of your National Magazine Subscriptions online (includes Zest + Company mags.) Go to http://www.subscription.co.uk/help
You need to know your subscriber number. Useful if you reinstate a direct debit with the same company to know whether the original subscription is still 'active.'
I've just cancelled a subscription online in this way as I have opened a new direct debit with Nat Mags and don't want to get charged for old sub as well.
Hope that makes sense! ???0 -
Some magazines will only issue one free gift per address per 12 months. New Woman is one of these magazines as I have found out recently. Changing the name will not work either.0

Just a reminder as I haven't seen it mentioned recently that most of the subscription offers are available with Rpoints (an extra 3 - 3.5% rebate for the direct debit payment). If you click on "Shops" and choose "Magazines" as the category , you will see 5 sites , including Great Magazines and UK Subscribe.
If you aren't already a member , you can get £5 Rpoints free by clicking on the link below (so do I).

Why did I ignore this post for so long??
I have signed up for Loaded £1 for Original Source stuff, Zest £3 for original source stuff, Mens Fitness for shaving set (free 3 trial issues), Evo for AA routeplanner (again 3 free trial issue) and a Computer one with small toolkit (again free 3 issue trial).
So it will cost me £4 & I will have to wait a few months to refund on the other titles, but worth it for the freebies and reading material!!
To be honest, I will actually read all of these, I find trashy ones such as loaded quiet amusing!! (Should i admit this??)
Thanks for the help....
Hope the Cosmo 3 for £1 is back soon.0 -

I just phoned for the Loaded 3 for £1 offer and it seems so many people have been taking advantage of the offer that the original source gift is now sent out after £9 direct debit has been paid.
I got chattting to the person who read me out all the details of the offer and even she was surprised at just how good it was."This site is addictive!"
