Pension Form Query

I am due to recieve my pension in December and I have been sent a form for my wife to apply for a pension based on my contributions, which they say she is entitled to irrispective that she is not British. my query is this, my wife is Latvian and has not worked since our marriage 12 years ago, she is not a British Citizen and has not claimed anything since being in England, however she does recieve a small pension in Latvia which she does not transfer to England, does she need to disclose this or not or do the pension authorities check it all out with the Latvian embassy, would it count against any pension she would recieve here. Thanks for any ideas.
