where do I get £10 Million liability insurance??

We are getting married next year and are now having a problem trying to find liability insurance. As the wedding is in a museum we have to have liability insurance of £10 million , which I think is a little excessive.

I can find insurance quotes for up to 5 million but this is still not enough.

Does anybody have any experience with this or just know of anywhere for us to look.

Thanks guys I am looking at both, it seems i could get 5 mill easy with wedding insurANCE but the extra is diffficult.

I'd second http://www.events-insurance.co.uk/, it's says they'll do £10m on quotation

We're insured with them. My venue required £5m and when I was looking, I could only find the one above, John Lewis and the one mimmy mentions which would do that. Of those, only events insurance say they'll do £10m by quotation.

Unfortunately, if you've already booked the venue, you have to abide by their rules for insurance (assuming they were in the contract you signed)

Think leisure insure will go up to 10 mil but not on line,you may need to give them a call
I know they insure that for my business,which is an event supplying business so a little different.
It does seem wrong that they don't offer it as standard and put it in with your quote or the very least give you advice on where to get it.
