Which Onion Chopper?

Please recommend a decent onion chopper for around £20 (possible?).
I can't get on with the click/clack type chopper, and I'm trying to choose between the Alligator and the Nicer Dicer. There is also one called a "Progressive" onion chopper - on Amazon for stupid money but on ebay from the US within my budget.
Has anybody found other alternatives that produce really nicely diced onions?

I use a knife but if I am doing loads then I pop them into my food processor, if you dont have a food processor how about one of these that could be used for other things aswell?

If you want a dice you need a large heavy chefs knife, a steel and practice. Volunteer at your local Indian. They'll be happy to let you chop a 25kg bag of onions!
Machines don't give an even dice, they just chop them to pieces. A professional mandolin which cross cuts may give a better finish, not cheap though.0 -
I had an alligator, very messy, seemed to squash all the juice out of the onion and didn't always manage to cut all the outer bits of onion. Threw it away in the end, use a knife or food processor now.0
