    Ah right. Well in that case I will wait to see what the bank says when they call me back...and if that's not straightforward then I'll get the broker to do some chasing again.

    Because he told me on 2 separate occasions that my mortgage had been offered when it wasnt and told me to come back to him in a few months when I needed home insurance... I guess I've just lost faith in him seeing as it took me 2 minutes and one phone call to find out the truth.

    UPDATE - mortgage offer issued on Friday! The day after they noticed the problem with the survey. So pleased!!
