Do I include commission???

I'm on with my SOA and I get commission in my salary - this isn't guaranteed tho and so don't know whether to include it in my SOA outgoings.
I'm scared if I include it the OR will expect me to pay each month & then the months I don't make any commission I will have no money to live on!!
What do I do?
On my SOR I have completed the following:
basic salary with no commission 970.00
rent 433.33
housekeeping 173.33
petrol 151.66
prescriptions/chemist 25.00
laundry 5.00
mobile 30.00
pet ins and pet food 30.00
medically prescribed exercise 22.50
hair dressing 5.00
clothing/work wear 20.00
car insurance 17.00
car tax & maitenance 10.00
total 922.82
47.18 left
Some months I might come out with 1150 if I get commission - but this isnt guaranteed.
Oh I also wanted to know if I would be able to keep my car? It is needed for work as I work shifts and there are no public transport late at night. It is work about £4500
Sorry if I have gone on - just I have my court date now 13/8 and feel so unprepared!

Hi & welcome

I'd tell the OR what your basic salary is & that your salary has commission on top which varies from month to month. If you can, provide 4-6 months worth of payslips from consecutive months, as that will allow them to take an average over that time to use for assessing your circumstances. The OR may also want to see your payslips for each month in future so that your income can be looked at on a month-by-month basis.
As for your car, people have been allowed to keep their cars if they can show they're needed for work or other necessary journeys, but at that value the OR might want you to get something cheaper - for instance, if it's a family car that transports 4 children & 2 adults on a regular basis, they'd have more chance of keeping something of that value because of the size than someone who's just driving themselves. I don't know much more than that I'm afraid (I can't even drive
), but someone will probably be along later who can advise on that. There are definitely lots of other posts on this board about whether cars can be kept, so it's worth having a search in the meantime.
