They aren't anywhere near as bad as they used to be in my experience, however they are pretty bad compared to the likes of Halifax.I am a mortgage adviser. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. hi,
on the subject on leeds BS mortgages, i have had an aip from leeds bs, and am in the process of the full application.
i am super nervous. i have 4 defaults from 3 years ago (i moved country and my finances were in a bit of a mess). since then i have never missed a payment. my credit score is 980 and my partners is 999. we are applying for 85% mortgage.
once the aip has been successful, does this mean that the defaults have been looked at and they are happy with it because my financial position for the last 3 years?
the statements/pay slips etc were provided yesterday so im hoping a decision wont take too long. :-)0
