Hi,I am unsure about where I stand in all of this. I have just remortgaged with the Halifax closing down my one Account. I have been charged £225 admin fee to do this. I have rung up to query the amount but have been told that I signed for this in my contract. Is there anything else I can do to reclaim or is it just the way it goes if I have signed for it?Thanks in advance for any help I can get with thisGoosejuice

Sounds right. If you were charged the amount you agreed to on your mortgage documenation then there is no refund due.
