so i suspect they will say "it said pre-order" and you'll loose your tenner if you dont cough up the rest

There no mention of deposit on it and it says that this £10 ensures that I own a PSP when it's out.

Yeah £10, which is the pre-order price, and you will get it first. Which is what Game and the others claim in their pre-orders but they list theirs at the normal price.
