Hi guys,
Hoping someone can help...
Looking to buy a friend a gift of a golf starter kit/pack. Looking for something that has the basics...tees,balls, towel etc but not the actual clubs.
Looking around I can't seem to find anything like that. My budget is £25-£75.
Anyone have any ideas where you can get this from as a pack to save me having to shop for it all individually?
Thanks in advance

Thats a very generous budget.
You could easily go to American Golf , branches nationwide and reasonable prices. As a non golfer I would avoid Sports Direct , have picked up bargains there but also seen a lot of rubbish.
For a complete beginner or one that has started?golf starter kit/pack
Things to avoid ......balls. A complete beginner looses to many , waste of money. plenty of secondhand out there,
Towel , I have used a bar towel off of ebay for years.
tees, very cheap but you could get a mixed bag.
A glove . Thats a left glove for a right handed player. Go for a good name , suggest Foot Joy
Nice warm hat ( I have a woolen beanie with a peak )
Ball Retriever ( a cup on an extendable handle)
Some ball markers / pitch mark
But all that still is short of the amount you are thinking of paying.
Under £30
You don't want to buy clubs, very sensible.
What about a golf push trolly ? I say 'push' as much better than pull
That would easily be getting towards £60 / £70

Ok , just looked at American Golf web page.
£60 push trolly
£9 Glove
£5 bag of castle tee's
You could save £20 by buying a cheaper trolly .
BUT warning , does the golf club demand Hedgehogs??
Ps American Golf sells vouchers!0 -

Thanks all. Very useful advice.
Seen a few things now, golf bundle on Ebay and American Golf page.
TBH I am quite lazy so was looking for a bundle as opposed to buying items individually (tees, balls, glove, towel, scorecard, divot repairer). Not sure what half the things are but advised they are needed!
Thanks all for the advice, much appreciated.0 -
Scorecard ?? unlikely , you pick up one at the reception before starting off.
Diviot repairer , not for a beginner. took me , months before I caused any serious damage.
But yes to a ball marker.0
