Cellophane wrapping for cakes

I'm planning to make some cake (1lb loaves) for xmas gifts and want to wrap them nicely in cellophane. I'm having real problems deciding what to use and wondered if anyone had any advise.
Would sheets to cut (printed with xmas designs) be better, or gusseted bags (sealed at one end) and if so what size? I can't seem to find many printed gusseted bags that have nice xmas designs but then wondered if I got plain ones then I could tie them with xmas ribbon and still use the bags at other times of the year.
I looked for xmas design cardboard loaf tins but couldn't really find any I liked (not many 1lb ones about it seemed) so will prob be plain brown ones (but again I could use them at other times of the year)
Many thanks

I wouldn't bother with bags. Lidl have rolls of clear and festive cellophane, cut a large rectangle ,gather the corners and tie with ribbon..... Voila!!Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.0

Thanks - I want the loaves wrapped rather than have the cellophane scrunched if that makes sense? I plan to put some ribbon round the cases when baked then tie round the loaf (over the cellophane) with some string and a tag for 'to / from / type of loaf.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I would go for flat cello rather than a bag, cut a rectangle, place it over the top then neatly fold and tape underneath (trimming excess) so you can't see the tape.Best wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card
