Mortgage redemption fees

Does anyone have a rough idea how much a redemption fee is please.
Current mortgage is being paid off, new one getting (same provider if makes a difference?), current mortgage is on a SVR now at Halifax.
I can check my balance of current mortgage, but says not including redemption fee. Any idea how much these fees roughly are please? '00s,'000s?
Thanks

Typically £265 with Halifax.
Check on your original offer - they call it a mortgage account fee.I am a Mortgage Broker

Do you mean the mortgage account fee (MAF) as amn asked, or the early repayment penalty for repaying the mortgage within the early repayment penalty period?
Are you porting the rate from the old mortgage to a new one?
The MAF is usually added to your mortgage at the outset and repaid each month interest-free, so you'll pay whatever is left owing.I am a mortgage broker. No basically paying off current mortgage, I'm getting a new mortgage completely for a new amount of money.0

Yes. Moving house, current mortgage is being settled, standard rate, no lock in, new house, new mortgage (same provider Halifax), with new amount of money borrowed.
