Tesco clubcard boost -v- high prices

I wanna buy a small electric appliance.
It costs £25 at Boots, Tesco, etc. but only £21.97 at John Lewis or from Amazon.
I want to use up my Tesco clubcard points and boost is the way to go. But I kind of resent Tesco for having higher prices and robbing me of some of the clubcard discount. From the Tesco Direct website it states that they do not price match to other stores. They don't even have the same prices on the website as instore.
My gadget should cost me £11 on clubcard boost instead of the £12.50 I'll be charged.
Any thoughts on this anyone?

Can't see your problem. Where did you get the 'tesco' points, who has boosted them ?? How much did you pay for the points??
Its a marketing ploy from Tesco, bottom line is the final price for the electric appliance.
Ps I use to club boost and swop for American Golf vouchers , always happy to get something for 'nothing' .0 -
You think that's bad?
See what happens if you want to boost them on a holiday or magazine subscription. You end up paying way over the odds!
Clubcard points are not free, Tesco has to recoup the costs somewhere, and this is a pretty painless way to do it. After all it's still free to you, even if you have to "pay" a couple more ££s of points for it.
It's only a game

This happens all the time with food. Eg, I have a Haagen-Dazs coupon which expires soon and it looks as if I will never get to use it.0

Thanks, especially to Pun and TB for helping me get a grip again....0
