When I click on the link it takes me to the Google Homepage, if you scroll down there is a form to fill but I just get a white space after entering my details and no code. According to those on the HDUK site the code comes through within a minute.

    Guess they ran out?

Tried on IE and on Chome. On Chrome it just told me I'd "timed out".

It's still working for me, perhaps you should try with another browser?
  • Wow, this sounds great. Has anyone gone to collect one yet?

I'd tried with two. Then tried again but went via Google to search for Uniqlo rather than following a link and hey-presto it worked! I got the code pretty much within seconds and was able to collect a top on my way to John Lewis to collect my free tote bag! Quite a decent evening :)
  • I've just been to 311 Oxford Street where there is a very long queue of people waiting for their free piece of heat-tech. I could not see what was being given away, though I was standing nearby for 20 minutes while a sniggering, spotty teenager searched for my click-and-collect item. Don't bother using that service!

Short queue downstairs at the Regent's Street branch. The T-shirt is flat-packed in a very small package - they do up to size large in women's & men's. I went for large men's as I'm curvy (well, okay, fat) & also because I don't wear sleeveless tops (on their website it looked like the women's ones were all cami tops, don't know if they are).

Rather than being a short-sleeved T-shirt, it's a nice black, long-sleeved one (http://www.uniqlo.com/uk/store/goods/078002). Very fine material (polyester, viscose, acrylic & elastane), like you get with some of the cycling tops; would fold up very small for packing. Says it would have been £12.90 on the back. Claims it's good for heat retention but also absorbs moisture, stops you feeling sticky, anti-odour, anti-static, is stretchy material etc.

    Nice freebie, thank you!

Maybe they ran out- when I collected mine (from Regents Street) only one girl ahead of me in the queue who asked for a womens XL and got two (had two mobile phones and was collecting for someone else apparently.)

I think the items are all tops, look like ex stock and are the plain long sleeved tops (I think they're all similar to this) they did something like this about 3 years ago but with an app rather than email sign up, it was similar, ex stock, that year I remember being asked what size I was and then what colour, this year it was just the size although this could be just to save time.

I agree, I still think this is a fantastic freebie- discounting the travel costs, it is free:D. I buy the Uniqlo heat-tech stuff anyway but can normally only afford the tail end of the sale (around April) when only the really odd hyper-strange patterned bland stuff made of fleect (claiming to be from the same heat-tech range), odd coloured stuff and the heat-tech vest tops are left over. I hope everyone gets a chance to try out the stuff because it's far more effective than any other thermal wear I've tried from other stores.

It's better to go at lunchtime, and try avoiding the Oxford Circus branch. Piccadilly/Bond Street ones have a relatively small queue compared to Oxford Circus....

Oh and if you're lucky and bring two codes, sometimes they let you collect two! Got one for myself and one for my partner!
  • I just picked up mine from the Regent Street branch. Only a small queue that moved quickly.

They said it was only one per customer, but I loitered for a bit, waited for a changeover of staff and went back to get one for my husband.

No choice of colour - you get what you're given - but you do get to choose size!
  • OH and I went to the Regent's street one, got a female size medium dark grey long sleeve top and a male size large lighter grey long sleeve top.

You can only specify gender and size, the girl in front asked for a male small and she got a black one.

Have bought a Orla Kiely patterned one previously and been very pleased with it.
