Good luck for today urbanspirit. Hope it goes ok or as good as it can. Thinking of you. let us know how you get on

    Thank you hjb :T

Wasn't well enough to attend the meeting, so waited for my letter telling me what they've decided to do - and they've called me in for another meeting. It's next Tuesday.

Met with the union this week to prepare a written statement in case I can't get to next weeks meeting again.

I am done with fighting and am looking for another job

It sounds as if you would be better off with a different job, specially if this one is making you ill or anxious, its bound to affect you is all that has been going on. Did the union meeting help alot?

Well keep us updated! Hope it all goes okay next week for ya

Can I ask which Union it is so that we don't make the mistake of joining!

    Good luck with it

Also, have you tried to call ACAS? They might be able to give you some advice too!

    Hi hjb

It was clear that his mind was made up already. He still grilled me, and asked me to remember dates and details from 18-24 months ago which I can't do with my memory and I explained that to him, and I was happy to check dates etc on paperwork when I got home. He ignored this and pushed for me to 'remember' - like him pushing me would repair my memory :rolleyes: so I stuck to my guns.

He said I had lodged a grievance because procedures hadn't been followed and I can't lodge a grievance for that!!! I can, it's written in the grievance procedures! But he sidestepped this.

So atm I have to QA the minutes, and once they're returned signed off he will write to me as quickly as possible as he doesn't want this to drag on.

    hi hun

    Only just spotted this.

Is your "lack of memory" ( sorry if thats offensive struggling to find a nicer way of putting it) linked to your disability? Or is it part of your disability?

This has all the hallmarks of constructive where im sitting, especially the aspect that they have not heard the grievance. How long has the grievance been in for?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

    Hi Lynzpower

Yes, my pants memory is part of my disability. I had a fab memory before very sharp and could retain shedloads of things, and literally overno9ght that changed.

The grievance was submitted I think in may or june this year (have the paperwork but not to hand).

They have had the minutes for about 2 1/2 weeks now and have not agreed/disagreed with the changes. Union emailed earlier this week prompting them to agree or not to the changes - nothing.

Got a letter - THE LETTER - this morning, my 'notification of a decision'. Have only pulled it out enough to read that title - am going to go somewhere, have a cup of coffee and open it up as I don't want to open it alone.

    Wish me luck.

    I'm sacked :(

A 14 year career gone (16 in total). I knew this would be the outcome but there's still something screaming inside me :(

I need to find a job fast
