Consent to let & new mortgage with same provider

Hi everyone
Myself and my partner own two properties and each have a residential mortgage. My partner is selling her property and we are buying together a new property. She is porting her existing mortgage over to the new property, and we are applying for additional lending to purchase the new larger property. The mortgage on the new property will be in joint names.
I am letting my existing residential property. I currently have the SAME mortgage lender as my partner - BOI - so my question is will the BOI allow me Consent to Let on my property for the remainder of my term and then take up the new Residential Mortgage with my parter, also with BOI?
Thanks in advance, all advice welcome.

Afforadability may be an issue. Also BOI's consent to let policy may only offer a restricted period of time and also an interest loading. So best to obtain more information prior to making a decision.0

We were with BOI for our old residential mortgage we changed to a consent to let (4 years ago), they would not consider an application for another residential mortgage so we had to go elsewhere, regardless of affordability.Thinking critically since 1996....0
