Final offer submitted with a marginal increase, and the EA seemed to be of a different view now and positive so will see.

Whilst I appreciate relative vs absolute argument, this is a situation akin to having 2 used Ford Fiestas side by side with the same mileage in almost identical condition; the only difference is one has sat nav and xenons, and sold for let's say x. The other is for sale and the buyer is wanting 6% above x, or in other words, their asking is too high (which is a trait of this specific agent anyway in this area).

If the cheaper vehilce is sold. Then buyers have the choice of only one. Take it or leave.

Nor does your assessment take account of the fact that finance may be owed on the more expensive vehicle.

Anyway doesn't matter what you think. As it's the vendor decision.

    Hi Shimano,

I understand your arguement and it totally makes sense, what doesn't always make sense is the people you are dealing with. I think the whole house buying process can bring out the worst in people and no matter how much you argue what someone elses house is worth at the end of the day if they say different there is not a lot you can do about it. Its worth a try so will be interesting to see what happens.
