MasterCard Contactless – TfL – Fare Free Friday Full Terms & Conditions 1. This offer is open to MasterCard Contactless card and device holders. 2. Offer only valid if using a MasterCard Contactless enabled card or device. 3. The offer will be available from 04:30am 14/11/2014 to 01:00am 15/11/2014 inclusive (“Promotional Period”). 4. To redeem the offer, MasterCard Contactless card and device holders must use their MasterCard Contactless card or device to travel on the London Underground, London Buses, London Overground, Docklands Light Railway, participating National Rail services in London and the Tramlink during the Promotional Period. 5. The offer entitles MasterCard Contactless card and device holders to receive a refund against their travel costs, made with a MasterCard Contactless card or device, on the London Underground, London Buses, London Overground, Docklands Light Railway, participating National Rail services in London and the Tramlink during the Promotional Period, to a maximum value of £9.80. The offer is as stated and nothing else is included. 6. The refund will take up to 28 working days from the end of the Promotional Period to appear in the MasterCard Contactless card and device holder’s account. 7. All qualifying journeys must be paid for using a MasterCard Contactless card or device. 8. Under 18’s will require guardian/parental consent to take part. 9. Offer subject to normal availability. 10. Offer excludes travel on London River Bus or Emirates Air Line. 11. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, offer or promotion. 12. MasterCard Contactless card and device holders must have an active account, with the requisite funds to cover their TfL travel costs during the Promotional Period. 13. To qualify for the offer you must touch your MasterCard Contactless payment card or device on a yellow card reader at the start and end of each journey by London Underground, London Overground, Docklands Light Railway or participating National Rail services in London (or any combination of these) and at intermediate points where required. On London Buses and or on the Tramlink you must only touch in at the start of your journey. You could face a Penalty fare of £80 or be prosecuted if you fail to do so. 14. Offer is subject to the TfL Contactless Payment Cards Conditions of Use located at contactless.tfl.gov.uk. 15. To the fullest extent possible in law, neither MasterCard nor agencies involved in this offer will be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever caused by matters relating to this offer. 16. By redeeming this offer, MasterCard Contactless card and device holders will be deemed to be bound by and have accepted these terms and conditions. 17. Any question concerning the legal interpretation of the rules will be based on English law and the Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction. 18.
