Re-Mortgage as a student

Some advice please.
I am currently a student doing an online course at home which finishes in March.
My 2 yr fixed deal with A&L(Santander) has just finished. So I am looking to get another deal, but as a student what are my chances.
I have sufficient funds to cover another 3 years if necessary.
I had trouble previously as I was self-employed and could only get a half decent deal with my original lender A&L. This saved me £30 a month.

Ask your current lender for its customer retention options again as it sounds like you once again have limited/no remortgage options.I am a mortgage broker. Why not look on the A&L/ Santander website at existing customer offers first.
You will have the details of your mortgage account and what you owe.
They may do a free desk top valuation and give you an idea of your LTV and what deals, fixed, tracker, offset they have for you.0
