Hi, I am just after some advice please. My son at the moment enjoys playing games like minecraft on his little tablet. He has recently been in to Game and played on the newest PSP and has asked for one for Christmas. Being only five, I have decided that a second hand unit would be best. Can anyone make recommendations as to which PSP to get him please? I've looked on ebay and there are loads but I've no idea what I'm looking for. There seems to be different colours, slim, bundle, allsorts?!
Any help appreciated!

Be careful with PSP, it's an alright wee bit of kit but finding games for it could be the tricky part, fortunately charity shops, cash generator/converters & CEX may be your friend here. (Pretty much all your second hand places) They should be relatively cheap for the games but the machine may set you back 25-50 depending on where you get it.
Reason I say to be careful is that PSP is essentially a legacy format now, Sony haven't supported it in years & retail ditched it prior to that as a going concern.Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0 -
Sounds like if they've been into game and played on theirs, it's actually a Vita they've tried.
Be careful that you buy the right machine, psp has not been supported for ages, and no new games come out for it now.
The psp is fine, especially as your young one is only 5, but won't be able to play the newest games on it. You will with the Vita, but obviously this will be more expensive.0
