How long to get State Pension forecast?

I phoned to get a forecast early in October and I thought I was told it would arrive in 10 days. Did I get it wrong?

Just wondered in case it's gone astray and I have to contact them again.

If your SPa date is after 5/4/2016 (so you will get the "new State Pension" then they are being clerically calculated and there will be "a delay".

It could be a while until the IT systems are changed to handle the new State Pension.
  • Thanks for that. Yes my SPA is 2017 so that's obviously causing the delay.

Dad did his online 2 weeks ago, it took 4 days for the code to arrive to activate on the website, although only 59 he wanted to see what it said, i think it was based on the present rules.
Would a written request have more detail?
