Buying Brandy Beware

Bought 2 bottles of reduced 3 Barrels brandy at Morrisons last week only to discover that it was 38% and not my usual 40%. Some bargain! In Tesco's yesterday, discovered that their 3 Barrels brandy was now also 38%. Today on the net found that Asda's 3 Barrels which is reduced to £13, is still 40%!!! Ms and Ts have just lost another customer.

Bottles in ASDA today are just the same as T & M

ONLY 38% ABV

There is some 40% 3B stuff ....

... the 15 year old XO version (50cl in cardboard tube with metal ends )

AND the 50cl size of the "standard" stuff but that is £15.50 (£31 a litre) whereas the 70cl bottle works out at just £18.57 a litre.
